Jetblue launches Embross K-Series kiosk in JFK Terminal 5

July 14th, 2016

New York-based carrier and Embross partner, JetBlue, officially launched its new check in lobby at JFK’s T5 today.

The new lobby features 70 Embross kiosks delivering the latest in self service capabilities including self bag tagging, payments and NFC/RFID.
The open and airy new lobby is optimised for efficient passenger self service with the inclusion of re-packing tables (and scales) for when you need to adjust overweight luggage, self-serve bag-tagging locations and a dozen new manned-bag drop inductions positions.

“This was a huge undertaking for us and it really has transformed the ground experience, not only for our customers here at JFK but for JetBlue as a whole,” said Don Uselman, JetBlue’s general manager for airport operations at JFK.

The launch of the new T5 lobby and kiosk deployment is the first phase of the broader kiosk deployment that will see several hundred Embross kiosks deployed across the Jetblue network.
