Calgary Airport along with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has installed Embross’ VelocityOnePIK (V1-PIK) kiosks for international arrivals.

Embross is pleased to provide Calgary Airport with our VelocityOnePIK primary inspection kiosks to help speed up international traveller processing by up to 50 percent.

As part of the project, Embross will be deploying 80 V1-PIK units equipped with facial imaging cameras, biometric fingerprint readers, and custom Embross software to provide a faster and seamless experience for travellers.

Travellers arriving internationally to Calgary Airport no longer have to fill out paper forms as Embross’ V1-PIK kiosks host a questionnaire for travellers seeking entry and automatically validates their documents and identity.

Calgary Airport is Embross’ latest V1-PIK installation in Canada. Previously, Embross provided V1-PIK units to Billy Bishop Airport, Edmonton International Airport, and Ottawa International Airport.

The Embross V1-PIK primary inspection kiosks leverage technology from Embross’ notable biometric passport control and primary inspection kiosks deployed across North America with the iconic design from Embross’ popular flagship check-in kiosk.
