FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
RICHMOND HILL, ONTARIO, CANADA – DECEMBER 5, 2024 - Embross North America Ltd., a global leader in passenger self-service technology, has successfully reinforced its partnership with the Port of Oakland through a strategic collaboration to continually improve passenger experience. The recent implementation of VELOCITYOne (V1) CUSS (Common Use Self-Service) kiosks have already shown remarkable results by streamlining passenger processes and improving overall airport operations.
The flagship of the series, Embross’ V1 CUSS kiosks offer passengers with their self-service check-in requirements including seat assignments, boarding pass printing, baggage tag printing and more while cutting check-in time and reducing passenger queues drastically. These cutting-edge check-in kiosks represent a significant advancement in modern airport technology, offering travelers a more efficient and convenient experience while navigating through the airport.
“We’re pleased with the recent installment of the Embross self-service kiosks at OAK,” said Port of Oakland Director of Aviation Craig Simon. “The implementation of this new technology will improve the experience of departing passengers at our airport.
