PARK CITY, UT, UNITED STATES – MAY 30, 2023 –Embross USA Inc., a global leader in passenger self-service technology, today announced it has completed the scale deployment of the VelocityOne (V1) and VelocityFour (V4) kiosks at Greenville-Spartanburg (GSP). GSP is served by five major airlines offering convenient daily flights to destinations across the United States and is a hub for air cargo, including flights regularly flown to and from Europe.  

As part of the project scope, Embross has deployed multiple V4’s, its leading check-in countertop kiosk suitable for delivering extensive self-service capabilities. In addition, both parties will also collaborate to optimize Embross’ kiosk management solution, Spectrum which provides users a complete operations center for monitoring and managing their kiosks. 

The deployment will also see the V1’s deployed in the departure area to assist passengers with their self-service check in requirements including seat assignments, boarding pass printing, baggage tag printing and more while cutting their check-in time and drastically reducing passenger queues. Greenville-Spartanburg selected the V1 for its slimline footprint, modern attractive design, and passenger friendly functionality. Utilizing technology to make the travel process smoother is a key driver for GSP. A key enhancement to these kiosks will be the capability for both standard and RFID-enabled bag tag printing, which will help airlines and airports reduce the number of misplaced bags.
