Embross announces its passenger end-to-end solution at PTE London

Embross is pleased to announce that they will be debuting TravelStream, the company’s complete seamless passenger processing solution, at Passenger Terminal Expo (PTE) in London. The Embross TravelStream is a biometric-based passenger automation solution that enables seamless and secure passenger processing from curb-to-gate.
Created for airports and airlines, Embross TravelStream offers robust security, improved efficiency, and an overall better passenger experience. Leveraging Embross’ extensive portfolio of self service technologies, airports and airlines implementing TravelStream can offer a cohesive and consistent service to their passengers.
Embross TravelStream operates with three primary solution layers:
- Self-service Touchpoints
This passenger facing hardware and application layer, which includes embedded cameras, face detection, application logic and platform for biometric registration and airline application, are designed to allow passengers to interact with Embross devices intuitively and efficiently.
Passengers are processed through Embross’ fully biometric-enabled Check In, Bag Drop, and eGate applications, as well as Embross’ CUSS platform. Passengers are registered, recognized and processed directly into their itinerary on their respective airline.Embross’ CUSS-compliant biometric registration applications allow new registrations to be added to existing or new identity management systems.
- Identity Management and Tokenization systems
Datasource and identity systems retrieve and store the necessary datapoints, whether it’s to an Embross database, customer database, or making requests to a third-party database.
Airports and airlines can use Embross’ biometric-enabled kiosks, self-bag drops, and e-gates to complete the check-in to boarding journey without requiring passengers to physically present their travel documents, allowing their identities to be verified through biometrics securely, accurately, and efficiently.
Embross is involved in several end-to-end projects including Delta’s first biometrically enabled terminal in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, where passenger adoption rate is over 98% and overall saved nine minutes when boarding a wide-body aircraft, showing market readiness and improved efficiency.
