Embross wins contract with Aéroport de La Réunion Roland Garros to deliver industry leading V-Series kiosks
Leading provider of passenger processing solutions selected as Roland Garros’ anchor passenger self-service technology partner

BERGERAC, FRANCE – JUNE 27, 2023 –Embross Airport Services (France)., a global leader in passenger processing solutions, today announced it has been awarded a contract to deploy its leading VELOCITYone (V1) and VELOCITYtwo (V2) kiosks at Aéroport de la Réunion Roland Garros, located in Sainte-Marie, a commune in the French overseas department of Réunion.
This Embross award is part of Roland Garros’ ongoing initiative to improve passenger processing experience, drive revenue, and achieve greater efficiency in its service operation while introducing new passenger processing solutions. The deployment of 20 V1 kiosks and 5 V2 kiosks is aimed at improving the airport’s operational efficiency. Embross’ industry leading kiosks can be used for check-in and bag tagging paving the way for a completely touchless, mobile passenger journey.
The Embross V1 is a next generation passenger self service kiosk, purposefully designed to meet the needs of the most demanding airport environments. The V1 reflects an extensive feature set designed through open dialogue with passengers, airport operations, guest experience, accessibility, service and maintenance, brand and marketing and other stakeholder teams. The V2 is a highly versatile, self-service kiosk platform offering the base capability of the V1 and will be deployed as a battery-powered mobile kiosk for maximum deployment flexibility.
Aéroport de la Réunion Roland Garros and its airlines will be empowered with a unified user experience across multiple airlines, increasing ease of use while also reducing physical touchpoints. The modular design on both the V1 and V2 kiosks will deliver long-life cycle utilization to meet todays and tomorrow’s needs as passenger service automation continues to grow, bringing added cost efficiency and sustainability benefits. Réunion Techniques Avancées (RTA) is the chosen service partner which will upgrade and maintain Embross’ kiosks under the contract.
